We’re proud to announce that HealthCareSim now integrates with Wallcur Practi-Meds, the practice medication line that sim labs have trusted for more than 50 years. If your program already stocks Practi-Meds, you can build up your medication library in HealthCareSim in just a few minutes using the inventory you already have in stock.
Scan to Add a Medication
Setting up a medication library has always meant typing in every drug name, dose, route, and form by hand. For a library of any real size, that adds up to an afternoon of data entry that most faculty would rather spend building scenarios.
The new workflow takes that work off your plate. Open your med cart, click “Add Medication,” and scan the barcode on a Practi-Meds package. HealthCareSim recognizes the product and fills in the details for you. Review what it pulled in, click save, and reach for the next package.
The result is a library where the medications your students physically handle in the sim lab line up with the medications in their simulated EHR. You build it from the same packages they’ll be scanning during a scenario.
Why Practi-Meds
